GHD’s are no longer being made with an intense enough heat for a noyana Keratin / Botox treatment. Please make sure the irons you are using are 230 degrees or above for the treatment to be effective.
Your client can still have a noyana Keratin / Botox treatment but to prevent the loss of volume in the roots, avoid applying the Anti-Volume treatment on the roots. After shampooing and drying the hair, comb in the Anti-Volume treatment 2 inches away from the scalp (or more if requested) and proceed with the rest of the treatment process as usual.
Ultimately it’s down to you and how comfortable you feel but we would say that 6 years and up are suitable to have a noyana Botox treatment. You will need the parents’ permission under the age of 16 and the child needs to be able to sit nicely for two hours. Good ventilation is as always very important and for their comfort provide a towel to protect their eyes and nose.
Ultimately it’s down to you and how comfortable you feel but after the First Trimester (the first 3 months), a Pregnant client can have a noyana Keratin / Botox treatment. Good ventilation is as always very important and for their comfort provide a towel to protect their eyes and nose.
We have come across only a handful of clients who have had an allergic reaction from our Keratin / Botox products, clean the area well and advise your client to take antihistamine, symptoms should go down within 24 hours. To prevent further reactions, avoid getting the products on the scalp, and make sure any product that comes in contact with the skin is wiped off with a wet towel.
yes we recommend noyana keratin shampoo and conditioner,
No noyana Keratin / Botox products do not damage the hair, if damage is caused this is only due to the over exposure of heat from the straightening irons. To prevent damage on fine or fragile areas, for example around the front of the face, bright highlights at the top and damage at the ends, do not go over the areas more than 2-3 times with the straightening irons. With the stronger areas of hair, repeat as required 7-10 times with the straightening irons.
Yes, it is recommended to have any colour or highlights done before a noyana Keratin / Botox treatment, this is due to colour being applied after the treatment may strip out some of the Keratin / Botox and weaken the results.
Yes, at any time. Afterwards when washed the hair will return back to the wonderful results of a noyana Keratin / Botox treatment.
